Sean Mulroe has been a member of Athenry Soccer Club since the early eighties. He played with Athenry at all juvenile levels and also played senior soccer. He then went in to management and manged various teams at under age. He managed the under 18s for 4 years where they were regularly finished in the top 3 of the Premier league. They also got to a Connacht cup final where they were unlucky to lose 3-2 to Ballinasloe. Sean has now moved in to the Sports injury field and operates from our club house. Any Chartered Physiotherapist can treat a sports injury, but I believe that ‘just' treating the condition is not enough. You have to really understand sport to properly treat and manage a sports injury.
